Post Date 2026-01-26Views 9

DOS&YOUNIQUE is a healthcare device specialist that has researched and developed human-application devices centered on light- and energy-based technologies, spanning aesthetics and wellness. Rather than focusing on appearance-oriented equipment, the company has positioned system design—considering human physiological mechanisms, safety, and repeated-use environments—as its core competitive strength, with particular emphasis on the accuracy of light source control and the consistency of energy delivery. This approach, aimed at securing stability and reliability in real-world use environments, is consistently reflected across the company’s entire product lineup.

DOS&YOUNIQUE has built a diverse portfolio that includes light-based therapy devices, body composition and body analysis equipment, and modular diet systems that can be configured by combining different energy technologies. Each device is designed for both standalone use and expandable integration within a unified flow of measurement, analysis, management, and care, enabling flexible application tailored to the operational environments of hospitals and wellness centers.

After developing Korea’s first UV tanning and white tanning devices in 2012, DOS&YOUNIQUE expanded its business scope by introducing health management devices inspired by the vitamin D generation mechanism of UVB, as well as regeneration-focused beauty devices based on 633 nm red light. Following its incorporation in 2021, the company has gradually strengthened its business foundation in both domestic and overseas markets. In Korea, it maintains a stable annual revenue of approximately KRW 5 billion, primarily from tanning and diet equipment, while simultaneously diversifying distribution channels by operating a B2C business centered on beauty devices and cosmetics.

In overseas markets, full-scale revenue generation began in 2023, focusing on beauty devices, tanning equipment, and cosmetics. The company continues supply performance mainly in China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia, and recently has seen an increase in inquiries and discussions related to product supply in Europe, expanding potential for further market growth. Distribution bases have been established through contracts with partners in regions such as Hong Kong, Ukraine, and Serbia, with phased expansion strategies underway for Central Europe and the Balkan region.

At this exhibition, DOS&YOUNIQUE officially introduces its core product portfolio while laying the groundwork for overseas market entry through the discovery of new distributors. Key products include Younique D, a vitamin D generation support device utilizing UVB light sources; Visbody, a 3D body analysis system; and Younique S, a laser scalp care device. Younique D is a light-based healthcare device that precisely controls UVB wavelengths to present a new health management approach based on the body’s vitamin D synthesis mechanism. Joint clinical research with Yonsei University College of Medicine has reported findings related to vitamin D generation and immune-related indicators.

Visbody visualizes the entire body as a 3D model through 3D scanning and automated rotational measurement, quantitatively analyzing body shape, posture, and body composition. It provides 14 key indicators—including muscle mass, fat mass, and obesity analysis—offering high applicability in exercise, diet, rehabilitation, and wellness programs. In addition, the modular diet system composed of Infinity Wave and iCapsule Dry Bed is designed to integrate with measurement and analysis devices, enabling more structured body management programs and presenting an optimized solution for hospitals and wellness center operations.

DOS&YOUNIQUE has identified the Middle East, Europe, and Japan as key target markets, pursuing phased market entry through collaboration with specialized distributors who have a deep understanding of local market characteristics and operating environments. The Middle East is considered strategically important due to rapid growth in demand for premium wellness and diet equipment and high receptivity to system-based solutions. Europe is evaluated as a market where the company’s competitiveness—grounded in light source control technology and human-application expertise—can be effectively communicated, given its emphasis on technical completeness and safety. Japan is also viewed as a market with strong alignment to DOS&YOUNIQUE’s technology direction due to its preference for precision design and stable performance.

Looking ahead, DOS&YOUNIQUE plans to participate in major domestic exhibitions such as KIMES and SPOEX, as well as key international exhibitions including Arab Health, Cosmoprof Bologna, and Cosmoprof Asia, to closely assess market demand and pursue phased market establishment based on collaboration with local distributors. With a core direction centered on total wellness equipment encompassing analysis, management, diet, and care, the company aims to continuously enhance the technical completeness and reliability of its light- and energy-based human-application devices.
